{"id":3090,"date":"2023-01-19T13:03:45","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T18:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.diosexplo.com\/?p=3090"},"modified":"2023-03-31T15:50:51","modified_gmt":"2023-03-31T19:50:51","slug":"dios-acquires-pontax-north-lithium-property","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.diosexplo.com\/en\/2023\/01\/19\/dios-acquires-pontax-north-lithium-property\/","title":{"rendered":"DIOS acquires Pontax-North Lithium property"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>DIOS acquires Pontax-North Lithium property<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Montreal, Quebec, Canada <\/strong><strong>\u2013 <\/strong>Management of <strong>Dios Exploration Inc<\/strong>. is very pleased to report <strong>Dios <\/strong>acquired the<strong> Pontax-North lithium property <\/strong>within James Bay prolific lithium region of central Quebec, Canada.\u00a0 It is located north of Pontax River and some 23km south of KM381 facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pontax-North lithium<\/strong> is also located some 6 km north (and west) of Pontax-Lithium prospect (1.16% Li2O over 30.55m) of Striae Resources and about 23 km due south of Galaxy Resources James Bay\/Cyr lithium deposit (40.3Mt @1.40%Li2O resource) for which Canada Environment federal minister just gave its approval on January 16 to start this new lithium mine in James Bay.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Pontax-North <\/strong>lithium project covers favourable rocks (paragneiss) along the margins of a 23 by 5-10 km magnetic felsic pluton with a prospective section some 10-11 km long. <strong>Pontax-North <\/strong>claims are also located in the axis of SW-NE glacial movement and along a cluster of lithium metal lake sediment anomalies combined with useful other anomalous critical elements.<strong>*<\/strong>\u00a0 The claims are also located in the vicinities of several magnetic features intersecting the general SW-NE magnetic trend. <strong>Pontax-North lithium <\/strong>totals 33 wholly-owned claims for 1760 hectares. \u00a0Field work is planned in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Geochemical signature is comparable to Pivert-Rose deposit and Pontax-Lithium prospect with even higher values in secondary environment. \u00a0Pontax-Lithium (lithium-tantalum-bearing pegmatite dikes) was discovered and successfully drilled in the scope of former joint <strong>Dios<\/strong>\/Sirios Resources exploration project under supervision of Harold Desbiens M.Sc. P.Geo, V.P. of <strong>Dios<\/strong> &amp; 43-101 Qualified Person, who reviewed this release.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>*<\/strong> <strong>Pontax-North<\/strong> (Li over 15ppm, up to 22.5ppm; Cs&gt;2ppm; Rb &gt; 13ppm, up to 18.2ppm)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>ERIC LEMIEUX, MINNING &amp; EXPLORATION ANALYSIS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>DIOS acquires the Pontax-North Lithium property in central Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Dios reported on January 19, 2023 that its has acquired the Pontax-North lithium property in the James Bay area.\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Pontax-North lithium property totals 40 wholly-owned claims for 2,300 ha.\u00a0 and is\u00a0 located north of Pontax River and some 23km south of KM381 facilities (see: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/genius-metals-inc-geni-v-provides-preliminary-ip-survey-eric-lemieux\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/genius-metals-inc-geni-v-provides-preliminary-ip-survey-eric-lemieux\/<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and the\u00a0 James Bay\/Cyr lithium deposit (40.3Mt @1.40%Li2O resource).
