Marie-José Girard, M.Sc., Geologist
President and CEO

Marie-José Girard has 35 years of experience as a mineral exploration geologist, especially in the glacial environment.

She has worked for several years in mineral research in Abitibi, the Otish Sedimentary Basin, the Labrador Trench in Quebec and the Mont-Laurier region.

From 1977 to 1988, she was responsible for exploration projects for SOQUEM, Mina Azufrec in Ecuador, Falconbridge Copper and LOUVEM (discovered the Monique gold deposit near Val d’Or in 1985).

From 1988 to 1993, she evaluated mining projects within the Quebec Securities Commission.

Ms. Girard’s team was named Prospector of the Year in 2001 for her discoveries of gold (Aquilon) and molybdenum (Tilly) at James Bay.

A consultant geologist since 1993, she represented Quebec on the Mining and Technical Advisory Committee of the Canadian Securities Authorities from 2001 to 2005.
She sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Diamond Reclamation Centre.

The management of De Beers Exploration Canada Inc. publicly said in a press release in June 2005:

We are satisfied with the effort and quality of work that the Dios technical team has invested in the 33 Carats project and wish to have the opportunity to work together again.

Normand Payette
Administrator

Normand Payette is a marketing consultant and has been Commercial Director at Martin International Communication U.P. Inc. since 1987.

From 1970 to 1987, he led sales teams for several private sector companies, particularly in the aluminum distribution sector.

From 1960 to 1972, he was a representative in the financial services field.

Harold Desbiens, M.Sc.
Vice-President

Harold Desbiens has worked as a geologist responsible for exploration projects since 1987 with various mining exploration companies, including Lac Minerals Ltd. (1987-1993), William Resources Inc. (1993-1995) and Sirios from 1995 to 2010.

He contributed to the discovery of the Ailly kimberlite in 1993 and to the four kimberlite occurrences of the DIOS Hotish project. The vast majority of diamond mines are found in kimberlite.

Aline Leclerc
Geologist and Administrator

Aline Leclerc has been a geologist since 1974. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal. She has been providing consulting services in mining exploration and mining exploration project management since 1995.

From 1974 to 1995, she worked for various companies and government agencies on exploration projects.

She served on Soquem’s Board of Directors from 1996 to 2000.

Roger Guévremont
Administrator

Roger Guévremont has been an Internet consultant for various Internet services since 2002, specializing mainly in Internet marketing. He was a director for La Rolland Business Park and for the École Hôtelières des Laurentides.
